Atlantic City Convention Center To Welcome Back New Jersey Apartment Association Conference And Expo For 2016, 2017 And 2018

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Thursday, May 14, 2015) The Atlantic City Convention Center will welcome more than 1,500 apartment professionals at the 26th Annual New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA) Conference and Expo into the facility, which will take place for three days throughout the week.

Local Atlantic City businesses are expected to greatly benefit from the NJAA Conference and Expo activity at the Convention Center throughout the week. The estimated delegate spending is expected to reach more than $1 million. In addition, more than 1,400 hotel rooms have been contracted by NJAA conference attendees throughout the week.

NJAA will kick off at the Atlantic City Convention Center on Tuesday, May 19 and conclude on Thursday, May 21. The three day event provides attendees with excellent educational and networking opportunities. This year’s theme for NJAA’s Conference and Expo is, “Building a Strong Foundation Together.” This theme resonates with NJAA and their selection for Atlantic City as the host city for their annual conference over the next three years. NJAA has signed a multi-year contract with Meet AC to continue holding their conference in Atlantic City for 2016, 2017 and 2018.

“Atlantic City has a lot to offer. Meet AC did a fantastic job of highlighting the many reasons Atlantic City would be the best host for our conference and expo this year and in years to come. Over 1,500 people from New Jersey and surrounding states are joining us in Atlantic City. We have a great relationship with the city and I look forward to further strengthening our ties,” said David Brogan, Executive Director, New Jersey Apartment Association.

“We are thrilled that NJAA has elected to remain with us here in Atlantic City over the next three years,” said Jim Wood, President and CEO of Meet AC. “Meet AC is committed to growing the convention business in Atlantic City, which will continue to have a vast impact on our local hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and casinos each year,” Wood said.
