About The Convention Center

The Atlantic City Convention Center, located at 1 Convention Blvd, Atlantic City, New Jersey, was designed to incorporate and reflect Atlantic City's seaside location, and has won the prestigious "Award of Excellence in Architectural Design" from the Pennsylvania Society of Architects. Regional decor is evident throughout the building, from the wave-inspired carpeting and granite flooring to the atrium's Rock Bar, an attractive setting for any event planner. Visitors entering the building are welcomed by a 90-foot high skylit atrium lobby complete with a lobby concierge, sculptures and art. Artist Jonathan Borofsky created the five flying fish sculptures suspended above the atrium floor. Twenty seven cast stone sculptures, created by Thomas Van Dyke of Prospect Park and cast by American Trim Stone of Haskell, are inset into the atrium walls and represent local sea life such as starfish, crabs and seahorses. The fourth floor showcases artist William Wegman's photographic exhibit entitled Six Scenic Scenes that depicts his famous weimaraners in costume and participating in activities found throughout New Jersey.


Occupying a site of nearly 31 acres, making it one of the East Coast's largest Convention Centers. 

Located on the building's second level, ranging in size from 29,400 square feet to 199,500 square feet.

Surrounding the expansive atrium lobby with a total of 109,100 square feet. Room dimensions range from 11,880 square feet to 672 square feet. Amenities include soundproof panels, assisted listening systems and voice, video and data communications capabilities. The facility features 32,000 square feet of ample pre-function space.

Plus, 4 drive-in doors, mechanical elevators, and 1,400 indoor parking spaces. It is connected with the Atlantic City Rail Terminal that runs the Atlantic City Line from Philadelphia to Atlantic City. Jitneys, buses and taxis queue at the front of the building to provide service to other points within the city. A pedestrian air bridge links the Convention Center to the adjoining Sheraton Hotel.

Located within a few hours’ drive of nearly one third of the nation's population and 20 percent of the country's business addresses, the convention center is easily accessible for convention, trade show and meeting attendees.

We are always working to assure safety of all who visit and work in our facilities, Spectra, in cooperation with State and local law enforcement and Federal Homeland Security, reviewed our safety plans and emergency response plans. A NJ Office of Homeland Security Assessment has been completed that assisted in reviewing all security and emergency plans with local, law enforcement, key stakeholders and staff. We have taken certain measures and reviewed procedures to increase security and safety for both employees and guests of the Atlantic City Convention Center..

The Atlantic City Convention Center is committed to preserving its unique seaside environment while providing a safe, healthy atmosphere for our guests. "Going Green" has consistently been one of the Center's main operating objectives. Several initiatives have already been implemented throughout the facility while others are in the works. Management remains committed to exploring new opportunities to better conserve and reuse our valuable resources through recycling, retrofitting and seeking alternatives to energy.


The Atlantic City Convention Center has been awarded LEED GOLD certification. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the foremost program for buildings, homes, and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained, and operated for improved environmental and human health performance. In the past year, strategies that helped improve Atlantic City Convention Center's environmental performance in preparation for LEED recertification, including LED lighting retrofits, close alignment of equipment operations with scheduled shows, ongoing preventative maintenance activities, restroom renovation designs that include installation of low-flow plumbing fixtures, and the start of a robust recycling program. 


The UPS Business Center is located on the first floor Atrium of the Atlantic City Convention Center. The upscale Business Center offers a variety of services and products for meeting and convention attendees as well as for the general public, including packaging and shipping, a full document services department, meeting needs and office supplies. There is also a complete technology and graphics design department. Other services include Internet access stations, copier and fax machine rentals, courier service, motorized wheelchair rentals, pick up and delivery and free parking in the Convention Center garage near the entrance of the business center. The UPS Business Center can also stock special or advance orders upon request.

The Business Center's hours of operations are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Extended hours are in effect in conjunction with show schedules. All major credit cards are accepted.

The safety of attendees is the number one concern of the Atlantic City Convention Center. For your safety and security, the Convention Center is now under new management with an EMT service from Absecon, New Jersey and our new security management, Abatis.

Assistance for Guests with Disabilities:

The Atlantic City Convention Center in partnership with the Atlantic City Convention Visitors Bureau (Meet AC) maintains an on-site Guest Services Information Desk with representatives staffed to answer any questions you may have regarding the Atlantic City Convention Center and the historic city.  The guest service is located in middle of the atrium lobby during regular business hours.

Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are located in the atrium lobby of the Atlantic City Convention Center

There are 1,000 parking spaces on the first level of the Center (Garage height 7') for attendees and exhibitors. In addition, numerous public lots and garages are within walking distance of the Center. Please see appendix for a map showing ancillary parking areas. Due to fire code restrictions, parking on loading docks, ramps or on the exhibit floor is not allowed. Vehicles in violation will be towed at the owners' expense.

Parking at the Convention Center is a flat rate of $15.00.
