(“Visit Atlantic City”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, as well as our policies and practices regarding the use and disclosure of that information through the website where this Privacy Notice is posted (“Website”). This Privacy Notice applies only to information that you provide to us through our Websites – it does not apply to information that we obtain through other means.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Privacy Notice at any time. When we do so, we will post all revisions to this webpage and will update the Effective Date written above. It is your responsibility to check this Privacy Notice for changes. With Your Consent. We may share your personal information when we have your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time by providing notice to us at marketing@visitatlanticcity.com

Unless we tell you differently, they do not have any right to use your personal information beyond what is necessary to assist us. 

Protection of Visit Atlantic City. Managing Your Personal Information

Your Choice Not to Receive Promotional Messages. You have the right at any time to unsubscribe from our newsletters and to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. You can opt-out of receiving our newsletters and promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each newsletter and promotional email that we send to you. We may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Notice, even if you indicate that you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional emails from us.

Your Choice to Correct/Delete/Modify Your Information. You may modify, verify, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by contacting us at marketing@visitatlanticcity.com. We may require you to provide personal information if you make such a request so that we can verify your identity. We may not be able to completely remove your personal information from our systems in certain circumstances. For example, we may retain your personal information for legitimate business purposes, if it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, if required by law, or as retained in our data backup systems or cached or archived pages. All of your personal information that we retain will continue to be subject to the terms of this Privacy Notice to which you have previously agreed.

Public Access to Information
In the State of New Jersey, laws exist to ensure that government is open and that the public has a right to access appropriate records and information possessed by state government. At the same time, there are exceptions to the public's right to access public records that serve various needs including the privacy of individuals. Exceptions are provided by both state and federal laws. Visit Atlantic City is funded by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. Information collected through this Website may become public record that may be subject to inspection and copying by members of the public, unless an exemption in law exists.

California Privacy Rights

Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosures of personal information to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes. “Do Not Track” Signals. The Website does not recognize “do not track” signals from your web browser. 

Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13, nor do we solicit personal information from children. If you are a child, please do not send any personal information about yourself to us. We will delete any personal information that identifies a child if we learn that we have collected that information. International Transmission of Data
Visit Atlantic City is based in the United States. Accordingly, any personal information that you provide to us will be transferred to and maintained on servers located in the United States. The laws, regulations, and standards that apply to privacy and information security in the United States may not be equivalent to the laws in your country of residence. By using the Website, you consent to this collection, transfer, storage, and processing of your personal information to and in the United States.
