EVENT WILL GENERATE MORE THAN 1,200 ROOM NIGHTS AND MORE THAN $3.4 MILLION IN DIRECT SPENDING FOR ATLANTIC CITY 

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Wednesday, February 25, 2015) The Atlantic City Convention Center will welcome more than 32,000 car enthusiasts into the facility at the largest indoor Classic Car Show & Auction in the United States, which will take place for three days throughout the weekend. 

Local Atlantic City businesses are expected to directly benefit from the Atlantic City Classic Car Show and Auction activity at the Convention Center over the weekend. The estimated delegate spending is expected to reach more than $3 million. In addition, more than 1,200 hotel rooms have been contracted by Convention Center visitors throughout the week.

The Classic Car Show & Auction will kick off at the Convention Center on Friday, February 27 and conclude on Sunday, March 1. Car fanatics will have the chance to browse, admire and buy more than $20 million worth of collector cars.
Auction highlights will include legendary muscle cars, rare roadsters, touring cars and popular classics. The auction process includes on-site bidding and phone bidding. Pre-registration is suggested.   

In addition to the auction, owners will be selling 250 vehicles directly to the public in the Car Corrals. Additionally, a vast Automotive Flea Market will offer hard-to-find parts as well as car accessories, collectibles and apparel.
On Saturday, fans of the critically acclaimed crime drama, Boardwalk Empire can own a piece of history when memorabilia will go up for auction. Vehicles from the actual series will go on the auction block at 11 a.m., including Nucky Thompson’s 1924 Packard, Chalky White’s 1922 Packard, Arnold Rothstein’s 1928 Studabaker, Dr. Narcisse’s Lincoln and Model T’s Rum Runner Trucks that are featured in the hit series.

Sunday is family day, where families can take advantage of special admission pricing. Kids under the age of 11 are free with the purchase of an adult ticket. The first 50 kids through the door will receive a free t-shirt!
